It is not primarily about complying with minimum legal requirements, but about being among the best when it comes to exercising corporate responsibility.

Code of Conduct at
ALSO & SEAMCO

The Code of Conduct is the foundation and describes our ethical business conduct. It serves as a guide for all our business activities and daily dealings with one another.

We respect human dignity and the rights of every person. Every employee at SEAMCOM has the same opportunities free from discrimination.

We follow the legal regulations of the legal system that applies to us, as well as internal guidelines and agreements. This applies to the bans on making anti-competitive agreements and accepting or offering illegal advantages.

We ensure that we do not have any conflicts of interest to the detriment of ALSO and that we do not compete with ALSO.

We keep confidential information such as business, financial and technical data from SEAMCOM and other confidential internal documents and data secret.

We are all obliged to support SEAMCOM and ALSO in enforcing these principles of conduct and to take care of the company’s reputation.

Dr. Carsten Thiel von Herff is the ALSO Group’s ombudsman for compliance issues. The ombudsman is available to employees and third parties as an independent, external contact for information about violations of the ALSO Code of Conduct, in particular criminal offenses or anti-competitive agreements. Dr. Thiel von Herff is professionally bound to secrecy and, if requested, will follow up on information without naming anyone. The information is only passed on to ALSO after consultation and in consultation with the whistleblower. The aim is to help the company to clarify compliance violations without the whistleblower having to fear disadvantages.
