Since its founding as a second-hand IT shop in the late 1990s, Webinstore has become one of Europe's leading IT remarketing specialists. We are your reliable partner, whether you want to dismantle old technology or build a new IT infrastructure. Our claim in everything we do: unconditional sustainability, highest quality, and an excellent price-performance ratio. Today, we have a refurbishing rate of 97 percent - no reason for us to rest on our laurels.
On the contrary: our head office in the south of Berlin continues to grow. Numerous start-ups and a science campus are in the immediate vicinity. Our service centre, including a modern large warehouse, now covers more than 4,500 square metres. The direct connection to the A100 motorway and the international airport Berlin Brandenburg are guarantees for a smooth logistics chain.
Over the past 20 years, our business has grown steadily - just like the know-how of our many long-serving and experienced employees. With them, as with our technology, we rely on diversity and longevity. Our relationships with customers and partners are also similar to our relationship with IT hardware: we prefer to maintain and improve them rather than abandon or replace them hastily.

Why we make green IT
for a blue planet
It is hard to imagine a world without notebooks, PCs or smartphones. But: the ever-growing number of new devices is increasingly straining the precious resources of our planet. For example, the production of a single PC consumes almost 350 kilogrammes of CO2, 1,500 litres of water, 240 kilogrammes of fossil fuels, 22 kilogrammes of chemicals and a number of precious and heavy metals (source: Bundesverband Die VERBRAUCHER INITIATIVE e.V.).
For us, these are more than sufficient reasons to rely exclusively on second-hand IT. And we recommend the same to our customers - out of full conviction. Why not? By no means all decommissioned hardware actually belongs to the "old iron". On the contrary: most devices could still fulfil their tasks for years until they are really irrecoverably lost. And even then, they can still serve as a spare parts store.
We are strongly committed to several of the official Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We have always strived for sustainable economic growth and are committed to providing optimal working conditions for our employees. Because only with them can we really grow and be successful in the long term. At our location in Berlin Adlershof, we combine all processes from procurement to production to shipping. This means that we are fully subject to German labour law, which is particularly employee-friendly by international standards in terms of pay, security, co-determination and social security.
Our business model for the repair and reuse of used IT also makes us a prime example of a particularly sustainable production method. We effectively conserve resources and reduce environmental impact by avoiding IT hardware waste. In this way, we make a decisive contribution in the fight against climate change and its effects.
