Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our WebShop team. In this role, you will be responsible for elevating the user experience of our WebShop platform through thoughtful design that balances aesthetic appeal with functional efficiency. You will work closely with development teams to implement intuitive interfaces that help our users accomplish tasks with minimal friction while strengthening ALSO's position in the competitive technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our WebShop platform that make complex processes understandable and efficient
- Document your design process thoroughly to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams and create a strong foundation for future design decisions
- Contribute to unified design documentation that promotes consistency while maintaining the WebShop platform's unique requirements
- Conduct user research to gather qualitative and quantitative insights that inform design decisions
- Create user personas, journey maps, and workflow analyses that identify opportunities for streamlining processes and reducing friction
- Proactively collaborate with development teams from the earliest stages of projects, participating in technical discussions and building strong working relationships
- Effectively communicate complex UX concepts to non-design stakeholders, including developers, product owners, and executives
- Translate business objectives into design strategies, demonstrating how thoughtful design creates measurable business impact
- Continuously evaluate and refine the user experience based on user feedback and performance metrics
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web applications, preferably in e-commerce or B2B platforms
- Experience creating and managing design systems
- Proficiency in Figma and other modern design tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving abilities through design
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design rationale and build consensus across teams
- Knowledge of front-end development frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js) to facilitate collaboration with development teams
- Experience in international environments and designing for diverse user groups across different regions
