Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Power BI & Data Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, report creation, and visualization using Power BI and Data Pipelines. They will also be adept at working with various data sources, transforming data, and building efficient data models. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively across departments to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality data and business intelligence solutions.
  • Design, develop, and optimize data models and Data Pipelines to support reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate data from multiple data sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
  • Design and support Datasets (Symantec models) for corresponding PowerBI visualizations.
  • Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain and update existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback and changing requirements.
  • Contribute to and follow corporate guidelines for Data Visualization.
  • Document data processes, models, dependencies, and reporting logic for transparency and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Power BI and other relevant technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and data analytics tools.
  • Following DataOps guidelines and practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using Power BI.
  • Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
  • Experience with Azure SQL Database, or other cloud-based data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
  • Familiarity with various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, CSV, APIs, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce or consumer business is regarded as an asset.
